How to Create an Ebook
Ebooks are popular, both with those who have a product to sell and those who have a story to tell. An effective way to drive traffic to your web site is to offer an ebook that visitors find useful, whether it's a short document that explores one idea or a book that's long enough to be printed on paper and shelved at a bookstore. For writers of fiction and nonfiction stories, ebooks are how most books will be published in the future. Ebooks are less expensive than hardcover or paperback books because they can be downloaded onto the reader's computer or ereader.
1.)Write the book in whatever software you're most comfortable using. Word processors are most popular, but you can also use software designed to create graphic illustrations, newsletters or slide shows.
2.)Convert the document to a PDF, which can be read by both PC and Mac users. Be aware that the full version of Adobe Acrobat offers features that other programs that create PDF files do not, so you may want to pay for the full version.

i.)Make the cover using a program designed specifically for drawing, creating illustrations and manipulating photographs. You can use a program specifically for creating ebook covers to make this task easier.
ii.)Download a template if you don't know your word processor well enough to do things such as insert headers, add pages numbers or adjust your margins for facing pages. Many people who have already published ebooks offer templates to create similar books free of charge.
iii.) Buy software specifically designed to create ebooks. Specialized software will allow you to decide which features your ebook needs and allow you to add them more easily than using other programs. Iv.)Consider using a program to format your completed ebook for ereaders like Kindle. If you prefer, you can find a service that will format your book for you for a fee, since reformatting your ebook can get complicated.
Tips
* Before you create your ebook, you must have content that people would pay to read. You can write this content yourself, find content that's in the public domain or pay for private label content that you can buy and rewrite to make your own.
